Naturopath for Endometriosis

My Approach to Endometriosis Support

At WHealth Naturopathy, I take an individualised, evidence-informed approach to supporting clients with endometriosis. That means I don’t hand out the same anti-inflammatory diet sheet to everyone and call it a day. Your symptoms, cycle, digestion, pain levels, energy, medical history, medications, surgeries, stress load and goals all matter.

  • Some clients come to me after a recent diagnosis; others suspect endometriosis but are still in the investigation stage.

  • Some are managing symptoms with hormonal medication; others are preparing for surgery, recovering after surgery, or trying to support fertility alongside endometriosis.

Each situation needs a slightly different lens. When we work together, I’ll take the time to understand what your body’s doing across the whole month, not just during your period. We may explore patterns such as premenstrual flares, digestive symptoms around ovulation or menstruation, pain that worsens with stress, fatigue that lingers after bleeding, or inflammation-type symptoms that seem to show up in multiple body systems.

Food, Inflammation & Endometriosis

Nutrition can play an important role in endometriosis support, but I’m careful not to turn food into another source of stress. A lot of people with endometriosis have already tried cutting out gluten, dairy, sugar, caffeine, alcohol, joy, personality… sometimes all at once. That may not be necessary, and it may not be the most helpful starting point.

Instead, I prefer to look at what your body needs more of, what may genuinely be aggravating symptoms, and how we can support inflammation without making your diet feel like a punishment. This might include improving protein intake, increasing colourful plant foods, supporting fibre tolerance, balancing blood sugar, improving omega-3 intake, or identifying whether digestive issues are making everything feel worse.

Endometriosis can be exhausting in a way that’s hard to explain until you’ve lived it.

Painful periods, pelvic pain, bloating, fatigue, bowel changes, bladder symptoms, painful sex, heavy bleeding, mood shifts, fertility concerns… and then the added frustration of being told that everything looks “normal” when your body’s clearly saying otherwise. I see this often in clinic, and I know how invalidating it can feel.

As a naturopath for endometriosis, my role isn’t to diagnose or replace your GP, gynaecologist or specialist care. Endometriosis is a complex condition that deserves proper medical assessment and, in many cases, collaborative support. What I can do is help you look at the bigger picture: inflammation, hormones, gut health, immune function, pain patterns, nutrient status, stress, sleep and the everyday factors that may be influencing how you feel.

Because endometriosis isn’t just “bad period pain”. And you’re not being dramatic.

What can Naturopathic Care Support?

As a naturopath for endometriosis, I often focus on areas such as:

  • Reducing inflammatory load through food and lifestyle strategies

  • Supporting healthy hormone metabolism

  • Improving gut function and bowel regularity

  • Addressing nutrient deficiencies or insufficiencies where relevant

  • Supporting energy, mood and nervous system resilience

  • Using herbal medicine or targeted supplementation where appropriate

  • Helping you build a realistic plan that fits your life, not an imaginary perfect version of it

Functional testing may also be useful in some cases, particularly if symptoms are complex or there are signs of gut dysfunction, hormonal imbalance, nutrient depletion or metabolic stress. But testing is never the whole story; a test result only becomes useful when it’s interpreted properly and translated into something practical.

Support that works alongside medical care

Endometriosis often requires a team approach. Naturopathic care can sit alongside your medical treatment, whether you’re using hormonal medication, pain relief, preparing for excision surgery, exploring fertility options, or simply trying to feel more functional day to day.

If you’re looking for a naturopath for endometriosis, my goal is to help you feel more informed, supported and steady in your body. Not overwhelmed by a 27-step protocol. Not blamed for your symptoms. Not told to just “fix your hormones” with a supplement from the internet. Just thoughtful, personalised care that helps us understand what may be contributing to your symptoms and what support makes sense for you.

If endometriosis has been affecting your quality of life, you’re welcome to book an initial consultation or start with a free discovery call. We’ll talk through where you’re at, what you’ve already tried, and whether naturopathic support is the right fit for your next step.
