Naturopath for Fertility Changes in Perth

When your fertility or cycle starts to change

"Fertility changes" looks different for everyone. You might be:

• Preparing for pregnancy and wanting to feel your healthiest first

• Noticing your cycle become irregular, heavier, lighter or less predictable

• Adjusting after coming off hormonal contraception

• Thinking about how age is affecting your cycle

• Supporting your body while going through fertility treatment such as IVF

None of this happens in a vacuum, and it’s rarely down to just one thing. It’s also emotionally loaded in a way people don’t always talk about, and that matters too.

Understanding your body with functional testing

Rather than assume, I like to build a clear picture of what is going on for you. DUTCH hormonal testing can show how your hormones are behaving across your cycle, and where it’s relevant we look at nutrient status and gut health too, since your gut microbiome plays a bigger role in your overall wellbeing than most people expect. That information helps us shape a plan that reflects your body and your stage. If an underlying condition like PCOS is part of your picture, we can factor that in together.

Whether you’re getting your body ready for pregnancy, coming off the pill, or simply noticing your cycle isn’t what it used to be, changes in your fertility can stir up a lot - hope, worry and plenty of questions. I’m Ashleigh, a naturopath in Perth, and I support women through these changes with a food-first, evidence-based approach that works alongside your GP and any fertility specialists you are seeing. I can’t promise outcomes, and I’d be cautious of anyone who does. What I can do is help you build a healthy foundation and feel genuinely supported along the way.

A food-first foundation for your body

My focus is on the foundations your body brings to this stage, rather than any single quick fix.

Nutrition sits at the centre. The nutrients your body draws on around conception and cycle regulation come largely from food, so we look closely at how you are eating and where the gaps might be. Around that, we work through the other pillars that influence how you feel and function: stress and nervous-system load, sleep, movement, your environment, and the support network around you.

Where appropriate, I use targeted nutritional support, always chosen for you and always in step with your medical team - complementing their care, never replacing it or interfering with any treatment or medication you are having.

What working with me looks like

I am based in Perth and see women right across the metropolitan area, including Fremantle and the surrounding suburbs, in person or online. There is no judgement and no pressure in my clinic - just a considered, personalised plan and someone in your corner. I’m glad to work in partnership with your GP, obstetrician or fertility clinic so that everyone is pulling in the same direction. A lot of the women I support through fertility changes also have questions about PMS or the shift towards menopause later on, and the same steady approach applies.
